Phoneme Factory Sound Sorter consists of seven activities to develop childrenÂ’s listening and awareness of sounds in speech. A range of preset activities, which match commonly found difficulties in childrenÂ’s speech, can be used to develop phonological awareness.

Further settings are available for teachers and speech and language therapists to address the less common speech patterns. The pictures used in the listening activities can be printed from software. There are indexed according to initial and final sounds and can be resized to suite requirements. The Sound Sorter tool can be used as a follow-up to the Phonology Screener.
