The Primary Reading Test is an easy-to-administer reading test, which includes alternate versions allowing you to evaluate pupilsĀ’ progress over time. It provides standard age scores ad reading ages so that you can compare performance with national standards. It allows children to work at their own pace in a familiar and relaxed atmosphere.

Each level of the test contains 48 items arranged in equal and ascending grades of difficulty enabling you to discriminate easily within the full ability range of any one year group. All items are in multiple-choice format.
