The Phonological Assessment Battery (PhAB) identifies those children who need help by providing an individual assessment of the child's phonological skills, helping professionals to prevent potential problems and remedy existing ones.

It comprises six tests of phonological processing, including: Alliteration, Naming Speed, Rhyme, Spoonerisms, Fluency and Non-word Reading test.

This battery of tests:

• Provides you with a clear understanding of a child's level of skill
• Helps you to prevent potential problems and remedy existing ones
• Ideal for use with children who have English as an additional language
• Can be used in conjunction with the Test of Word and Grammatical Awareness to establish a child's all-round metalinguistic ability.
